West of England Women’s Commission is recruiting for someone to support with admin on a freelance basis.

West of England Women’s Commission brings together leaders united by a shared mission, we work to improve the lives of women and girls across the region by addressing systemic challenges and driving meaningful change. We are a small, mission-driven not-for-profit organisation recruiting for admin support to help ensure the smooth running of the Commission. This would suit a proactive, organised administrator used to working on a remote, freelance basis with small organisations.

About the Role

The Administrator will support the smooth running of our commission and its task groups. You'll be the operational backbone of the commission - keeping meetings on track, records up to date, and stakeholders connected.

This is a varied coordination role well-suited to someone who thrives on detail and enjoys working across multiple workstreams. It is a freelance position, with some fixed dates throughout the year for meetings but flexibility outside of this. This role suited to someone based in the West of England region, confident working independently.

There is a fixed fee of £2,800 to cover 80 hours work at £35 an hour. The contract runs from April 2026 - March 2027 with possibility of extension.
