Delivering social value for women and children in the West

Our panellists were Marie Spour, MCIPS Sarah Lambshead Rachel Mostyn & Ruth Badru.

“Growth only matters if everyone can feel it in their everyday lives”.

Those were the words of one of our panellists as we gathered key leaders and cross-sector stakeholders from regional procurement, inclusion and social value teams.

Today the West of England Women’s Commission Economy Task Group hosted an impactful half day summit in Bristol to discuss transforming regional procurement to deliver social value for women and children in poverty.

It was a brilliant opportunity to bring together those who can really make a difference for women and children in our region and it’s just the start of ongoing work that will stretch across sectors.

The event was hosted by Diane Bunyan & Sue Cohen, and our panellists were Marie Spour, MCIPS Sarah Lambshead Rachel Mostyn & Ruth B. Badru.

With thanks to our facilitators Izzy Haines, Roxy Rossiter, Zara Nanu MBE, Natalie Sherring, Sarah Lambshead & Ruth B. Badru.

We’re also grateful to Triodos Bank UK for kindly hosting us today and West of England Mayoral Combined Authority for supporting our event.
